Angels & Airwaves

Angels & Airwaves is een rock-supergroep die werd opgericht door blink-182-gitarist Tom DeLonge. In mei 2006 kwam hun debuutalbum We Don't Need To Whisper uit. Hun tweede album, I-Empire, kwam uit op 6 november 2007.
In januari 2009 ging de band weer de studio in om hun derde studioalbum getiteld LOVE op te nemen. Het derde album kwam uit op 14 februari 2010, Valentijnsdag. De bijhorende single heet Hallucinations. De band is ook verantwoordelijk voor het maken van een film, LOVE. Deze kwam uit op 10 augustus 2011 en was slechts die dag te bekijken in de filmzalen, enkel in de Verenigde Staten. Hij zou aanvankelijk I-Empire heten. Volgens DeLonge is het nieuwe album vergelijkbaar met Pink Floyds The Wall. DeLonge zei over het derde album: "It is the biggest release of my life, the pinnacle of my creativity. It's super conceptual and highbrow in many ways, very artistic, very Stanley Kubrick, but it's not a rock opera. It's a very modern version of what could happen when you blend the film industry and the music industry together in a very, very arty, kind of cool way with professionals involved all along the path."
